Hello, new here, not new to 4Runners. Bought a Limited about three weeks ago and the stereo was ok, the premium JBL. About a week ago, the rear sub and rest of the speakers, passenger doors back, are now about 25% of what they were volume/decibel wise. Took it to the dealership, and that was fruitless. Went through all the data and trouble shooting in the manuals to no avail. Before I go on an unwanted hardware journey, has anybody experienced this, and if so, can you post your link? Looked around but didn't see anything. Anyway, thanks.

I assume you checked your fader to make sure it was set as desired? I have my rear speakers turned up a tad.

Thanks Dutch, yeah, I set mine all the way to the rear and the sub is irrelevant, the removable speaker in the dash by itself is louder than all the speakers from rear doors to the sub. So disappointing. I am currently looking to trade for a '24 as the dealer has shined me on. Lotsa money for a rolling washing machine on spin cycle with half a 14 speaker system. If Toyota gave a damn, they'd try to figure out how this occurred. It's what real engineers would do.
