I always wonder what % of 4Runner owners actually do this. I have owned mine since September 2025 and have just over 5,000 miles, but haven't had a chance to take it in the dirt in order to turn 4H on safely.

I have almost literally the same exact set up with the only difference being a ReadyLift leveling kit vs the Peak: Suck a clean look, cheers!

Thanks for that heads up! I have been using a torque wrench for the skid plates, I think the torque specs for it is 27ft lbs, which is less than the oil drain plug (29ft lbs), so definitely a good word of caution, don't crank it down too hard.

You don’t need a bracket, literally just 2 more bolts since the TRD skid plate extends further back then the stock SR5 one

No problem! This is my first time doing 20% on the front windows. It's for sure the darkest I would go for front windows. Sometimes at night I crack open the windows when its low light settings with potential pedestrians 😂

Hey @Monochrome is this Santiago Peak trail? I have been looking for local trails just to get mine a little dirty (and somewhere I can turn the 4H on every so often), and I thought a bunch of Orange County trails were closed. Thanks!
