I felt like the seat cushion was not much of a cushion, almost like the seat was worn out already in a brand new Pro. I felt like I was always sliding forward. And the height adjustment for the front edge of the seat cushion was fully maxed. I needed a bit more.
I thought about making something...
Not exactly in DC area, but may be worth the trip down to Charlotte. They did a great job on my Pro. They have wrapped a lot of very expensive vehicles. Check out their photo gallery of past projects.

I would be curious to know if it reduces -or better yet eliminates- the drone in the Pro running at 1000-1500 rpm. Please let us know what you think when you get it installed.
Just on pure looks, my first choice would’ve been black or underground. But it seemed like there were a lot of complaints about soft paint early on from owners of those two colors. So I got scared away. And I’ve had two cars that were white in prior years and they just always showed dirt. So...
That is certainly a lot different environment than what I encountered over a year ago. I feel for you and the frustration it creates. A salesperson who wants a deposit just to share information about an expected arrival is asking a lot and probably alienating prospective buyers more than...
I’m not sure if this applies anymore, but when I was shopping in April/May 2025, the sixth generation was first being introduced and they came out with the gas models first - the hybrids followed a little bit later. So that’s why I had to wait until they started shipping the Pro’s.
Are you...
Interesting deal… a two-for-one! So a swap is possible, but as you said probably rare.
And I still doubt that it would ever help the prospective buyer’s bargaining leverage.
For the OP: Your best bet in locating and getting a decent price on a limited production trim is doing an internet...
As it relates to a dealer swap…
I wonder if any dealer would actually be willing to part with a Pro on a dealer swap to another dealer who wants one. They can pretty much always get their price on the high end limited production trims. They might send their Pro off to another dealer if they...
Similar to the boat trailer guides suggested by MTN Dew, I bought some cheap fiberglass rods at the hardware store. I use them to mark my garden hose reel (that is mounted on a post) so I don’t back into it when leaving my driveway. I would put one on each side of your trailer. Mine are bright...
I feel like gloss vs matte depends on your vehicle color as well as the look you’re going for. Mine is Mudbath and that really called for gloss in my opinion.
That price sounds about right although regional pricing differences make it hard to compare.
I paid about that for a “full” PPF - minus...
Agreed, it has turned into more of a project than expected.
Before you grind down a fin… when you spoke to Baja Designs did you run that option by them? Curious as to what they would say.
If you do grind it, I think you would have to touch up paint the ground areas to protect from rust...
Another thought, and bear with me here because it’s been a year since I did this project, is you could pull the light out of the adapter, rotate the adapter half a turn (180 degrees), reinsert the light, and then you’d be drilling a hole into the adapter on a clean face with no hole already...
Memory is a little foggy as it was a year ago, but I think I moved it back out of the adapter far enough to be able to drill a hole where I needed one. Hence the 3/8” bump out.
No glue involved.
(Can you mark and drill a new hole when it is bumped out? Just make sure it is not too close to the...
