Mine had the diverter. Honestly, such an improvement over the OEM horn, the difference in decibels between diverter and no diverter is irrelevant. Would not have known about this horn option but for the 4Runner6G site!

Install done. Took 10 mins or less. here’s a good install video and some photos I took and a video for sound.

Any good brand will extend out into the door threshold. Look for that.

I went with Lasfit which I really like but didn’t do enough research and have since seen other brands that look pretty good and are noted by folks in these threads. So you have some options
