  1. Flaking paint on the hitch

If you use plastidip instead of paint (from experience) it works a lot better. Easy to also remove if you happen to get any anywhere else
  2. Camera Hole Plug 3D Print File - Grill replacement

And not that it matters one bit - but if you need just plastidip it gloss black to match the pro grille - but don’t think anyone will notice either way.
  3. LC250 Wheels mounted on 4Runner (photo)

In case anyone was wondering (aesthetics/sensor wise) the LC250 wheels are plug and play; took 15 mins driving around for the 4Runner to recognize and set the TPMS.
  4. Canada - Alberta Heritage Grille TOYOTA Overlay - Gloss Black

Have a set of gloss black heritage grille overlays for sale. $100 CAD and buyer pays shipping (UPS).
  5. 2026 4Runner Platinum Build

After having my LC250 stolen last year, finally got everything buttoned up for delivery on a 4R platinum. Great work by the dealer helping out with everything. Some details below. - de badge - 265/65/20 Michelin X Ice winter tyres (LC Premium wheels and tyres to go on in summer) - TRD Pro grille...

  7. Considering Trading my ORP for Land Cruiser LC250 - Talk me out of it.

My two cents as someone who had an LC 250 premium pack for 16 months before it was stolen and now into a 4R platinum. All personal opinion and no right or wrong answer as you know. LC Cons - premium gas - heavier and drives much more sluggish than the same powertrain in the 4R - price - no...
  8. Buying Heritage Grill in Canada

Just fyi this is dealer specific and not country. I have a pro grille on my platinum purchased from and installed by the dealer. If you google the part number there is a dealer in Ontario that will ship direct to your house and the dealer that my dealer in Calgary price matched to.
  9. Engine Immobilizer - Insurance Requirement

This is great thanks for sharing! So part of this as well I assume is ensuring the code you choose is using buttons or whatever that are distinct vs potentially vague (ie. Aux 1 button vs volume toggle on the steering wheel). Does it only give you one chance to enter the codes an start up before...
  10. Engine Immobilizer - Insurance Requirement

    Extremely helpful thanks so much.
  11. Engine Immobilizer - Insurance Requirement

An immobilizer like autowatch ghost or Masterguard
  12. Engine Immobilizer - Insurance Requirement

Much appreciated! I think I’ve learned as much as I can about how the system works in theory, but wanted to confirm in real world example with a 4R. Regarding your comment about the high beam - like add the high beam into the code or some thing to mention to the installer?
  13. Engine Immobilizer - Insurance Requirement

Double checking - going to get IGLA installed next week - for anyone that had that or similar installed - no issues to date? Install went well?
  14. Apparent New Theft Tactic

Ya the $1200 ghost or IGLA or Masterguard - source was the police task force working on stolen cars. Again I’m not trying to argue just relay information. I’d think the police would be relatively objective in something like this vs the businesses selling these things. Seems like there is no sure...
