I was doing wheel research prior to launch of 6th gen and if i remember correctly :
- Bolt pattern is still the same.
- center bore is smaller on new TNGA platform, something like 95mm vs older 106 (goes way back to 1st gen 4R) : this means you can fit older wheels (not accounting for offset...
Yeah "Normal".... dealers..... Let us know how that goes and hope it helps in your case. I 've been dancing with the idea, but really do not want to waste my time at the dealer for the squeal to come back after all as others have experienced.... I've exhausted all my Toyota care visits and...
I just went for a ride and tried it at destination and back, I think it happened as well. It's so darn windy today that it's hard to hear your own thoughts... nevertheless I think i did notice something there after a while sitting there.
As you mention @JimmyDean it well could be the grilled...
Interesting that it is coming from the front. i actually parked this morning and sat there for a minute or so and nothing. This is before reading this thread and was not paying attention, but it sounds like it's a noticeable thing. Does it happen every time under the circumstances you describe...

The wind switches on the next day too sometimes!:LOL:
Nice!!

Well that answers the 17 mpg there.
