  1. Took delivery of my 2025 TRD Pro - first pics & impressions

I finally had the chance to get the 4Runner off-road. Drove from Seattle out East to the Stampede Pass area that has a big network of service roads. I was chasing my son in his modified Wrangler and had zero issues keeping up. While a lot of the area is just gravel / dirt roads, there are plenty...
  2. Ammonia Smell - Everest TDR Off Road

I've noticed what smells like the catalytic converter when I'm in traffic and have the rear window down. I'm guessing that it may reduce in intensity as everything breaks in. I've only got a few hundred miles at this point.
  3. Feelings on Paint Protection Film PPF: Good or Bad?

For most cars, I don't think there is a return on the investment that makes sense unless you plan to keep the vehicle a very long time. A good PPF job will cost from $2500 for partial front to over $10k full vehicle. On a rare super car, maybe. On a daily driver, I just don't see it making...
  4. Took delivery of my 2025 TRD Pro - first pics & impressions

I'm not against paint protection film, although I rarely think the ROI is there, but if you are going to do it, you should do the full hood and wrap the edges where possible to avoid visible seams.
  5. Key FOB - Dealer programmed to open windows and moonroof

Carista device showed up, got it up and running in a few minutes and after plugging it in, the app connected and gave me a clear list of all configurable options. Super easy. I can confirm the long hold window open works, along with any other feature I changed. Note, it opens the sunroof but it...

  7. Took delivery of my 2025 TRD Pro - first pics & impressions

I know what you mean...it's such a good looking and capable vehicle. My build came with a few overpriced add-ons, but otherwise I'm super happy with it. I like the ARB rack although it may get swapped for a full length rack down the road if I run out of room. It came with the predator steps...
  8. Took delivery of my 2025 TRD Pro - first pics & impressions

Thanks. The first photo is Mt Rainier in the background taken from Tacoma.
  9. Took delivery of my 2025 TRD Pro - first pics & impressions

Hello, I'm feeling fortunate to have taken delivery of my white TRD Pro today. I owned a gen 3 many years ago and it was always one of my all time favorite vehicles. I've been driving a Mach E Rally for the last year, but after experiencing the gen 6 redesign in person, I knew I needed to have...
