Today in the mail I got a letter from some other company NOT Toyota about a service contract saying if I need to contact them within 5 days to ensure eligibility.
It looks as if its some BS warranty coverage from one of these companies that scam people out of money but if their is some problem...
I am finally picking up a new 4Runner on Friday, it is a TRD Off Road Hybrid Premium. This process has taken way to long because of deceptive pricing at dealership. The dealer I hoping to use near me never got the 4R in the color and trim I wanted. Sorry for going on a short rant about dealers...
In this situation if I buy from that dealer which is out state I would end up doing all the title and license myself even would have to go to DMV with the check for tax. By the way Nodak where do you live? I’m in Dickinson.
I drive semi and have for a number of years, I would be very surprised if it wasn’t a simple fix with a computer hooked up. That is how the mechanic did it on our semis they would just take the tire height and input that number in the computer and the speedometer would be adjusted.
I’m not much in that way to where I keep on adding. I put nicer looking wheels on my tundra and that was it. I don’t even try very hard to keep it clean anymore it gets a bath about 2 times a year.

I don't expect them to be perfect, I just want to know what to expect. Maybe I got a little spoiled with my Tundra almost 100,000 on the odo and other than routine maintenance I have spent less than $4000 on odd stuff going wrong.
