Yep, the off-road trim makes off roading easier but the other 4x4 trims are all equipped to handle off road. Basically has a lot of nice to have off road features out of the box.

You can also let your dealer know they skipped pre-delivery steps and you had to figure it out on your own. I had to the same but the dealer was 3+ hours away so I skipped the complaining because I won't be dealing with them in the future. If it was my local dealer, I would have complained.

After having multiple soft bottom hammock and then getting a hard bottom...hard bottom 100% of the time. I threw away the soft bottom shortly after. I have "multiple" 70lb dogs and it works so much better.

You can watch some YouTube on the limited. It’s perfectly capable to go off road but get rid of the tires asap. It’s doesn’t have the bells and whistles to make hardcore off road easier but it’s still capable for more than dirt roads.

I use mine all the time in spring and fall. Every car I have had since 1995 has had one (minus a convertible I had). I also like the extra light in the cabin unless it’s like a million degrees out and then I will close the cover. Otherwise it’s open unless I park in the sun.

Cooper Road+Trail 275/60/20 on my Limited. Nice mix of mostly road with some capability for trails. It's was Tire Racks top rated tire. Rides quite for the much more aggressive tread vs stock tires. Looks way better as well.
