If you're gonna disconnect the link, remove it entirely. I'd recommend removing it from the lower control arm (it's just easier to get to, and you don't need an Allen wrench to hold it still) At the least zip tie it down - if you remove it from the bar side, zip tie it down using the hole in the...
I completely agree w the opinion that ratchet straps are in the danger zone of breaking your tie down points. Friction straps are cheap and easy to use, and the OEM accessories that clip into those points are almost all bungee type accessories
Two things I noticed in the link is that only the TH says the overall height is without the roof rack. The other is that the dimension category for the OFR doesn't specify hybrid or not.
The ground clearance is set by the cross member on the transmission for the hybrids, and it's noticeably...

Your 12v battery is 72ah, which is 864wh at 12v. Adding a second battery will extend the the wh on that, but if you're doing this w the truck off, you're gonna be playing roulette w...
I would wait to drive it before making up your mind on a suspension. I have an ORPH, totally stock, and I don't take my front air dam off for trails under 7 - your description of where you're going makes me think you may just be pleasantly surprised w the stock suspension.
I'd also say to...
I have been running the Spacer Experts set for a couple months, no problems. It was cheaper than just buying 4 lugs from the dealer to get rid of wheel locks
I would say to get some bin style beds if you don't already. My corgs appreciate the hell out of them, esp if we are anywhere offroad, since they're cuddled in
