  1. Wheel & Tire Fitment - 17x8.5 +35 with 287/70R17 on stock suspension?

Nothing I would call significant. I run KO3’s on my Sprinter Van as well. I put them on last fall after running KO2’s for the last 8-9 years. First thing I noticed when I switched to the KO3’s was how much quieter these tires were compared to the older KO2’s, and better ride. So when it came...
  2. Wheel & Tire Fitment - 17x8.5 +35 with 287/70R17 on stock suspension?

Yes, it’ll fit. I’m running the same Method wheels and also have 285/70/17 tires on stock suspension w/ no lift. +35mm offset will result in the sides of the tires being close to flush with the fender flare.
  3. 2025 ORP Overland Build - My first 4Runner, with custom drawers & kitchen

I did the driver side rear seat delete for additional storage. In place of the driver side rear seat I extended a platform over the footwell that can either hold a cooler or a place to put my gear bags for quick access. I’m keeping the pax side rear seat since it goes with drawers I am...
  4. Plans for bed in cargo area

I’ve been working on this over the last week or two for my 2025 ORP. It’s a work in progress and yesterday I painted the boxes black and am letting them dry before re-installing in the back. I built a drawer/sleeping platform for my old 3rd Gen DCLB Tacoma (with canopy) and I miss the...
  5. Suggestions for Wheels: 2026 TRD OR

Method 703’s are a fairly popular choice in 17 x 8.5” size. I think the reason a lot of people revert back to 17’s is there are more tire options in that size compared to 18’s. The 703’s have a +35mm offset, which on an 8.5” wide wheel results in the tire being pretty close to flush with the...
  6. Aftermarket Wheels, Bigger Tires, Lift Kits (Compilation) for 2025+ 4Runner 6th Gen -- Add Yours!

BFG KO3 (C-load) 285/70/17 on Method 703 17 x 8.5” (+35mm offset) No lift yet, but no rubbing detected either If you’re looking at 17 x 8.5” wheels and want the tires flush with the fender flares, IMO the +35mm offset is the way to go. +25mm would have a little more poke (10mm worth…)
  7. Anyone have any experience installing cell phone boosters?

I installed one in my Sprinter camper van. It does work, but won’t pull nothing out of nothing. If there’s 1 bar of native cell signal, I can usually get 2 to 2.5 bars with the Weeboost on. Or in other words, I can turn marginal cell signal where you can barely text into enough bars to surf...
  8. Lasfit or Weathertech Floor Mats?

My wife put Tux Mats in her Volvo last summer. Agreed, they take a bit to relax and conform to the footwells. I think we let her’s sit for a few weeks, then used the supplied clips to attach them to the carpet. I plan on doing the same with my 4R, but to be honest I’ve just been busy doing...
  9. Lasfit or Weathertech Floor Mats?

Odd, I have a set sitting inside my 2025. Purchased in Nov.
  10. Lasfit or Weathertech Floor Mats?

I’ll toss out a 3rd option: Tux Mats. Check ‘em out. More protective coverage than the other two. For the rear-cargo mat, I like the Weather-techs. For the rear seat backs, Lasfit seems like a really good option.
  11. SL or LT tire

I’ve been researching tires to put on my ORP and have been considering SL’s vs C-load. I always run C-loads on my Tacoma’s but doing some research it looks like the popular C-load Wildpeak AT4Ws in 285/70/17 weigh a wopping 67 lbs, whereas the SL version in the same size are a more reasonable...
  12. ReadyLift 2.5" SST lift, 17x8.5 +35 Method 703 wheels, and BFG KO3 LT285/75R17 tires

Thanks, 1/2” of poke is perfect for me. +35mm offset it is w/ the 17x8.5’s! I also appreciate you passing on your experience ordering the Methods. Enjoy your truck and all the great backroads you have in Colorado!
  13. ReadyLift 2.5" SST lift, 17x8.5 +35 Method 703 wheels, and BFG KO3 LT285/75R17 tires

Nice job and great looking truck! I’ve been looking at the same Method 703’s in +35 offset for my ORP. I’m thinking the +35 offset on the 17x8.5’s would net a flush-poke or put the bulge of the tire a little outside the fender. Whereas +25 would be about a 1/2” poke. Can you confirm...
