Just played around with this. I get the same greyed out. The trick is to put on some music and that will allow you to adjust the levels.

Does anyone else remove the second row headrests to get a "full view" from the rear view mirror? Maybe another solution is to just fold the second row down but it's nice to have them up to put smaller items there.

The dash cam hookup only supplies power to the camera when the care is running. I believe it powers up with the screen on and then turns off the screen after a short period of time. You can use verbal commands to turn the display on and off. With the way I have it mounted on the passenger...
