I would suggest not to do it while the vehicle is under warranty since it might void your warranty. Just use it and if it breaks you are covered.

You can't, they will have to drain it to check the level. The dealer can't and wont do it unless there is a serious recurring problem/messages that relate to the transmision. Its not recommended as well since it can cause problem if drained so early in a car

You would have to remove all the fluid to check the level. To put it back in you would need a pump. There is no dip stick on their toyota for the transmision fluid. My guess its a viscosity issue with the fluid.
