Awesome read! Was just out there w/ the fam and saw people on the trail and got super jealous!
I was wondering how technically difficult it'd be and it's great to see that the TH could handle it stock
I still have it if you're interested. The rack I have is the Ragi fabrication OEM cross members that bolt into the existing rails. Unfortunately the cross members have a length of 36" and the box is 47" long
Just FYI the box doesn't come w/ clamps to clamp it to the roof rack, it's sold...
Bought a 117qt Dry Box and realized it's too large to be mounted on the roof rack I have. Since it's larger and weighs 45lbs I think it'd be easier for someone just to pick up or I can drop off locally (Bay Area)
Retails for $369.99, willing to let go for $275
Never been used, link here...
A lot of routes out by Tahoe, Yosemite and Stanislaus on OnX. Most of the ones I've done definitely need more than one person but there's a few short ones that look like it can be done w/ one person like Red Hills Road or Fish Rock Road
I really do wanna do Sherwood Road up by Fort Bragg which...
Thanks! Yup it came w/ all the hardware and you needed to make 3 holes per side and the 4th uses the existing upper coat hooks. What was annoying was the kit came w/ the option of placing a plastic snap nut or a sturdier metal rivet nut but the metal rivet nut was about 0.5mm too thick to fit.
So far just the first aid kit and a small fire extinguisher. I also have a cargo mat for my dog that uses suction cups but it keeps falling so I'll switch those out to carabiners.
I'll have to find a way to jury rig some of my lighter camping supplies to it
My interior Rago interior panels came in over the weekend and did a little midweek project to install them as well as the Raptor and puddle lights
Rago tends to grossly underestimate their time estimates, said it'd take 30mins for this one. Took me about 1.5-2hrs (probably can be done faster...
Agreed, I didn't expect this level of apathy from everything I've heard about them. I've reached out to them one more time in hopes I don't have to go through the headache of sending it back
