Added the hard mudflaps, phone mount inside on the ignition, and I want to get a larger cup holder. I got the first black in the southeast USA back in Sept 25. Love it minus the wind noise from the windows, the speakers rattle, and the HUD rattles. Fixed the speaker and working on the rest.

I've driven the SR5, TRD Pro &TRD Off Road as rentals for a week, and I own a Platinum. If anyone thinks any trim rides smoother than a Platinum, you've never driven one in Comfort mode. It's not even close. The TRD models are off road, not made for a smooth ride, they have tighter suspensions...

Any chance you are able to share where they did the spot weld? That seems like a more permanent solution than the foam that everyone has had put in.

If so, how the heck do you use it in the 4runner? Not only can I never get it to sit flat because of the seat angle and the rear being able to lean back, but to get the car seat to even fit, I have to have the seat in front of it ALL THE WAY forward so NO ONE could sit in the front. What gives...

My dealer ordered some window seals, but I'm not sure if it's coming from the window or the door itself. I plan to bring it in for an oil change soon and have them address this at the same time. It's only gotten louder over time. You have to have music really loud or it's just an annoying wind...

I also have issues where I can't get the back hatch to open at ALL sometimes. Like I'm inside the car, pressing the button, nothing. I go outside, nothing, key fob in hand. Had to manually open and close it, which felt terrible.

Can I just purchase OEM LED Headlight assemblies off eBay and swap them in my 5th gen 2015 SR5 and they'll work? Or do you have to get specific ones, have to program them at the dealer, etc? If it's just a different wiring harness that's needed, does anyone know where I can purchase that and if...

I went on the Toyota DashCam website and put in 2025 Hybrid 4Runner and it says not available for this model??

I'd also note that perhaps the ECM or whatever it's called that learns how you drive, maybe that helped fix this for me over time. I have about 2k miles on it so far. Haven't had the downshift clunk in over 1k miles.

Regarding ONLY the clunky downshifts. Do you have DA(Deacceleration Assist) turned on or off? When I had it ON, I'd have this happen ALL THE TIME when braking / slowing down. After turning it off, never again FWIW. Also, I HATE HATE HATE the "normal" driving mode. It feels TERRIBLE. I always...

I notice the same thing when the 4Runner is cold. Leaving my neighborhood, it will shift HARD from 1st to 2nd.
