  1. Is this part supposed to be covered or something on 2025 4 runner trail hunter?

Is it on the frame rail? I have it on my Pro as well. Saw it when I first got my 4R, my first thought was that looks fragile.
  2. Hybrid Real World MPG (iForce Max) - post your model, specs, general driving conditions, results:

Just completed an ~100 mile drive, nearly all highway, lightly hilly, net loss in elevation, no headwind, near zero traffic, adaptive cruise control on, 87 gas; vehicle reports 69mph average with 16.5mpg. Bewildering terrible...
  3. Gasoline fumes while driving and after driving - 2025 4Runner TRD Pro

Overfilling gas tank? I've noticed a gas spell inside the cabin when I "topped off" the tank, even without spilling gas.
  4. Hybrid behavior in cold weather - electric motor spooling up less?

I am just talking normal driving, not overly aggressive. I honestly have never had an issue with the hybrid engaging when a "get on it". But that isn't the issue here. Colder temperatures definitely impacts the hybrid system engagement. Even going from high-20s to the 40s I can see the...
  5. Hybrid behavior in cold weather - electric motor spooling up less?

I've noticed a temperature-based difference in hybrid engagement as well. Leaving my house in the morning, I have a few stop signs in quick succession before I drive some distance. The hybrid system will engage willfully at the first 2 stops. By the time I get to the 3rd a mile down the road...
  6. Trick to get rear hatch close and lock?

I've had some oddities with the hatch beeping at me too after pressing the "close and lock" button. I've guessed it is the vehicle thinking the key is inside the car. If I stand too close to the hatch, I get the beep and no close. I can pretty reliably get the hatch to close if I stand...
  7. Hybrid Real World MPG (iForce Max) - post your model, specs, general driving conditions, results:

I filed a complaint via Toyota's support page (https://support.toyota.com/s/questions-comments?language=en_US). Toyota actually replied pretty quickly! Went back-and-forth via the support portal, and then actually had a human from Toyota call me! They collected my thoughts, expectations, and...
  8. Air bubbles in OEM Factory PPF (in front of rear fender)

Yea, that is thought too. I also fear the dealer would do a worse job then the factory at applying the PPF. I get but also don't get the heavier-duty-paint-plus-PPF solution. Yes, PPF will help, but it also looks like gahbige. I don't know why Toyota didn't keep the heavier-duty paint off...
  9. Interior Rattle / Vibration

Did you ever try the solution per https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/interior-rattle.7233/#post-87991
  10. Hybrid Real World MPG (iForce Max) - post your model, specs, general driving conditions, results:

Not good...you're telling me! Tire pressures are 34 psi as per the in-vehicle readings. I have not tried premium, and do not plan to. Toyota says regular is fine, and I assume that is what they based the fuel economy ratings on.
  11. Interior Rattle / Vibration

I have the same rattle, mostly at highway speeds. If I wedge my fingers between the door frame and B pillar I can get the rattle to go away.
  12. Air bubbles in OEM Factory PPF (in front of rear fender)

It is a triangle shaped piece on the bottom rear corners or the rear passenger doors.
  13. Strange thumping/vibration feedback coming from left strut/suspension area into steering wheel

I have similar symptoms. Seems worse or more noticeable when steering slightly into a pothole or bump in the road. At about 3,000 miles now. Brought to dealer and they couldn't replicate, shocker. They told me to bring it back as if it gets worse.
  14. 20% sale on OEM Toyota parts until 1/20/26

Ordered the Trailhunter transmission skid plate for my TRD Pro using this discount. Win. Still mind-blowing that the TRD Pro omits the transmission skid from the factory.
