Interesting. I’m kind of thinking that the switch really does nothing in my TRD Pro with the better climate package. Maybe it’s just a remnant from lower trims without full climate control.
Anyone have any insight into the purpose of the dash switch AC On? It seems like the climate settings activate the AC as needed for a given temperature setting. What’s the switch there to do?
I’ve noticed a green READY indicator at the bottom left of the instrument panel. It’s always on when I’m driving. Just what exactly am I supposed to be ready for?
There is a red OEM rear recovery hook now. My dealer was able to get one an installed it. I do not have the part number. It look great, but it is power-coated red and not anodized like the front hooks.

I’m 3,000 miles and 19 days into a cross country trip in my 2025 TRD Pro. The truck has over-performed in everything from 11-hour days of highway driving to off-roading classes in the Texas Panhandle.
I've noticed that the lift gate light that is tucked in near the opening switch over the license plate stays on for awhile after I park and walk away. Not sure what purpose it serves, unless it is for unhooking a trailer or something. Has anyone read up on this in the manual?
