Since I already had the front skid dropped to install the Slee radiator crossmember reinforcement, I went ahead and did my second oil change at 1,600 miles after lunch. While waiting for the oil to drain, installed the rear tow hook.
Gave her her first bath today to get the salt off. My wife made me meet her for a beer before I could get tire dressing on.
Found a good parking spot at least.
The LC250 sites have a lot of interest in the Slee radiator crossmember reinforcements since most front skids mount to this and it seems to be a vulnerable area. I’m surprised I haven’t seen anything here about this. Slee just updated their site to add the 6th gen to their confirmed fitment list...
2020 BMW X3M with a BM3 tune. Very fast and fun, but missed the 4Runner platform after having a 2010 Limited and 2015 TRD Pro. Still getting adjusted to the acceleration difference, but really enjoying the Trail Hunter so far.
Mine didn’t rattle but I didn’t like all the play in the glovebox door. I don’t have a 3D printer so I ordered the $20 fix from 4Runner Lifestyle and it worked like a champ.
I reached out to Perry Parts a week or so ago about whether they will offer v3 standalone for those of us who ordered the bump mounts and to confirm I need standard length for a Trailhunter. No response which is disappointing.
New Trailhunter owner here that was also curious as to what made up the rest of the height difference. My guess is it’s the “high clearance” front bumper aka viper cut.
