I have installed Wolfbox dashcams in 4 different vehicles now. I used another brand of adapter on the first two. Big mistake. Both of them had the usb connection box warp and malfunction. Complete garbage. I just installed one in our 4Runner, and used a @Dongar kit this time. It certainly appears to be of much better quality and works great. Just trying to save anyone else the headache if possible.

Agreed. I bought the Donger Pro and used it with the Redtiger 4K. Super easy. Just pop out the center plastic by the rearview mirror, push the rest of the house down and bob's your uncle.

Haven't figured out I'm going to attach the rear cam it comes with. Pushing the wire into the headliner seems like that will work and using my 3D printer and one of the headliner screw holes in back should do the trick.

Yeah, I didn't remove any of the panels, just tucked the wires inside. So far, so good. I would like to see your 3D printed mount though! Do you sell them? Thanks!

Oh yeah, lol I never remove panels when running wires for cams. I'll do it if I'm installing a high end audio system and I'll remove the A Pillar covers if I need to go under the dash.

I usually charge $9.95, but since you're part of this community I'll take $49.95.

No charge. Just pay for shipping. Or if you have a printer or a friend with a printer I can send you a file.

We're having a heat wave so I might get to designing it this week if not next week.
