Installed 35x12.5 tires (MT Baja Boss) on stock Trailhunter wheels & suspension. Removed crash plates and no rubbing.

Yes. Need to remove the safety plates in the wheel well and might have to do some minor trimming up front, but it’s nothing crazy. Easy stuff. But be safe and if you do not want to trim, 295/70/18 is the max you can go.

I had an 84 Toyota PU with 35 Super Swampers on it. To get them to fit required lots of suspension work. It also required a 3" body lift. The stock 4.10 gears had to be swapped out. It amazes me how things have changed. The tires looked massive on it compared to the 225/75 15 tires. Now you could almost put them on a stock 4Runner.
