sounds like good plan! I just picked up some cargo molle & pet barrier from Victory, all their stuff seems super solid. I ended up going 3/4 rack from Westcott Designs as want to leave it on.

That's very interesting thanks! Sorry to be dense... did you have to drill new holes in the box to line up with the crossbars, or because these aftermarket latches don't fit through the existing holes in the box?

I had victory 4x4 crossbars on my 5G 4Runner and they have been great, very solid and low noise. The new ones look a bit less tamper-resistant given the Toyota redesign of the rails. Am going through the same research for a new 6G so will be interested to see what you find. For the price of...
