  1. Changes to the 2026 4Runner vs. the 2025 (standard trailer brake controller, sound dampening (hood & engine bay), interior door panel filler/rubber

@Cranberry can you please update the initial post — I think PVM was never an option on the pro/th/orp, they all have MTM which seems to include all the views (including top down pano) that PVM has, plus additional views. My apologies for causing the confusion.
  2. 20% sale on OEM Toyota parts until 1/20/26

I was under the impression that the TRD is 1/4 aluminum and the trailhunter/LC plates are 3/32 steel. The trailhunter is explicitly marked as steel on the website, and I’m gambling that the LC is the same based on the stamping and other comments on the forum.
  3. 20% sale on OEM Toyota parts until 1/20/26

Thanks for the tip, much appreciated! I ended up ordering not only the lights but also the 3 skids. LC front, transmission, and rear came out to $723 after tax, with free shipping. I think the LC front was like $10 more than trainhunter… but just felt wrong to put trainhunter branded stuff on...
  4. Changes to the 2026 4Runner vs. the 2025 (standard trailer brake controller, sound dampening (hood & engine bay), interior door panel filler/rubber

I think the way Toyota presents the options is just a little confusing. My new understanding is that MTM is really PVM + some additional features. Around 1:30 in this video, it says you access MTM from the PVM menu: So seems to me that MTM includes that top-down view, and is strictly superior...
  5. DEMO: How to maximize (and monitor!) dashcam recording time while parked! For all 6G 4Runner!

I considered fitcamx and chose not to get one, don’t quite remember why. I think they didn’t have a parking mode, maybe
  6. Changes to the 2026 4Runner vs. the 2025 (standard trailer brake controller, sound dampening (hood & engine bay), interior door panel filler/rubber

Maybe I don’t know what PVM is — I thought it was this top-down view on the right side of my screen.
  7. 20% sale on OEM Toyota parts until 1/20/26

I see some dealers offer discounts aside from the 20% (stacking) — closest to me is Clovis Toyota, $42 off of $315 for the cargo lights, so 13.3% off + 20% off + free shipping. With free nation wide shipping, does anyone know of a cheaper dealer?
  8. Changes to the 2026 4Runner vs. the 2025 (standard trailer brake controller, sound dampening (hood & engine bay), interior door panel filler/rubber

It doesn’t allow me to select 2025, but I sure have that feature on my 2025 ORP I-force max
  9. Changes to the 2026 4Runner vs. the 2025 (standard trailer brake controller, sound dampening (hood & engine bay), interior door panel filler/rubber

American site, to be clear I’m talking about the top down view of the car that appears when you’re in low speed, not the multi-terrain monitor:
  10. Changes to the 2026 4Runner vs. the 2025 (standard trailer brake controller, sound dampening (hood & engine bay), interior door panel filler/rubber

My 25 ORP has the 360 pano view, looks like they took that off of all trims except the limited and platinum for 2026. Wish I had a trailer break, threaded frame, sound dampening…. But wouldn’t trade that for the 360 pano view.
  11. First 4runner Trim Help SR5 or TRD Off Road

I have an ORP, and was considering SR5 vs OR vs ORP. The diff between SR5 and OR is ~6k, for which you get: No sliders “Skid plates” are high density plastic (feels like thin metal) but are not actually metal Bilstein shocks Rear locker “All terrain” tires (they are “on-road all terrain” tires...
  12. DEMO: How to maximize (and monitor!) dashcam recording time while parked! For all 6G 4Runner!

I bought the dongar pro in November and a garmin mini 3. I have the dongar to the right of the pillar, and the garmin sort of in front of my rear view mirror — completely out of my field of view and I often forget it’s there and recording. Still haven’t tested to make sure the singer pro and...
