The cold start will always be slightly louder as the system and the technology comes to temperature. We have not seen DP combinations yet, but will be following along closely to hear your feedback.
I think this is a very accurate representation of the characteristics of the platform. It certainly isn't drone they are referencing, just the system transition, which does not happen as often under spirited driving, or extended cruising.

The only functional effect that a resonator or muffler has on an exhaust system is to change the sound profile, control emissions, or in a rare case modulate backpressure. We find that most OE exhaust system designs are all about appealing to the largest buyer audience possible.
