Looking for some general advice. I’m going to be buying wheels and tires soon and I know I want to run a 17 inch wheel with a 285 tire. I have the hybrid system which I know is heavier and I want to make the right decision on tire specs. The most off-roading I’ll be doing is trails, and fire...
Good stuff! I was in a similar situation, a Silverado that was starting to break down and walked away with the same 4Runner. Had the same feeling when I saw the blue too
Yeah I see what your saying, I don’t plan on taking this truck through the most difficult terrain though and the extra insurance of the bar in the city I live and work in where no one knows how to drive works for me.
So you just unbolt the factory to hooks and use the factory bolts right into the same holes. You can’t see it in the photos but there are what looks like built in slots to put tow straps or shackles
Just ordered and installed this brush bar guard from CAtuned. I think it looks slick and doesn’t have all the hassle of a bumper replacement. Uses the factory front tow hook position and bolts.

In the hunt for one as well, the only thing I’ve found in my research is the Westcott designs one MIGHT not because you can pick which side the tire goes (left, right, center)
Looks great, thinking about getting the same peak suspension kit. Did you need anything else to install it? Also did any of the safety systems need to be recalibrated?
