  1. Best color to hide swirls/scratches

Let us know how that ceramic looks. I did the front window tints and it looks bad a$&. Considering ceramic after a good correction in the summer. It suck ass here now and I can’t get warm enough to work on it in the winter. Even in the garage.
  2. Best color to hide swirls/scratches

I have a Heritage Blue 25 Limited and it hides scratches pretty well. However it DOES scratch rather easily. My 23 Black Tundra was the same. I think the clear coat is soft?? Pissed me off to no end. One regular car wash and I was compounding that sucker like crazy. My HB Limited hides it...
  3. Wanting to keep the engine running when coming to a stop

Yeah I’d say it’s mechanical. I drive a couple similar drive trains recently (I drive a lot of rentals for work) and none of them had the same clunk. So far if I’m in a lot of traffic I just drop in in 8M. But it’s still annoying. Otherwise DANG! I love this truck. Girlfriend digs it too!
  4. Wanting to keep the engine running when coming to a stop

Yeah, it’s the one big complaint I have. Otherwise it’s darn near perfect.
  5. Limited Trim Ride Quality

I think the Limited rides pretty well for being a truck. In fairness, I replaced the stock tires with top of the line Michellins because I shredded two of the originals on road debris at 7k. (Fun, not). I keep it in comfort or Normal and honestly I don’t think it’s too bad. Sport is a...
  6. My Limited Conundrum

You could do what I did and get rid of the wife! Problem is the new girlfriend has the same problem. I bought her a ā€˜lectric blanket and so far so good!
  7. Wheel Spacers on 4Runner

Considering putting Spider Trax or similar wheel spacers on my 25 Limited. Not really looking for clearance for bigger tires, just thinking it would look good and fill the wells out a little better. Anyone else done this? Any noticeable changes in ABS, handling, etc?
  8. Wanting to keep the engine running when coming to a stop

Thanks for posting. The reason I want to keep the engine running is that the start/stop is too clunky. It drives me nuts in traffic. I’ve tried the ā€œshift to manual and leave er in 8ā€ and it works well. Tow/Haul works well, too. I’m looking into one of the plug in bypass options as well.
  9. What'd you drive before your 6th Gen 4Runner?

I drove a ton of P.O.S’s for years then as my career grew moved into my first used T100, then a Taco, Mazda3, then a Mustang in TX for a while. First company truck was a Colorado ZR2 diesel which was a sweet truck. Then a Sierra with the cool tailgate, Tundra (didn’t like it) and now my 4Runner...
  10. Have you seen your 4Runner 'Twin' or Doppelganger yet?

Only two I’ve seen in North Cincinnati was a red Limited and a Black sR5. I have a Heritage Blue Limited. I see other Heritage Blue Toyotas but no 6G4Rs. My girl is so so pretty!
  11. 6th gen 4Runner Hidden Storage Box / Center Console Underside Organizer (Hansshow)

I have the dealer-installed safe installed in my 25 Limited. Will it work with that or does it interfere?
  12. Wind Noise from Roof Rack?

25 Limited with the stock roof rack. I get so much wind noise I’m constantly checking if the sunroof is cracked open. I’m wondering if adjusting the position of the cross beams might help. Anyone else notice this? I’m willing to change out the rack with aftermarket if I could ensure less noise.
  13. Problems since purchase

Terrible luck man. Let us know what the dealer says. I haven’t been off road other than gravel country roads in my Limited but no issues to report whatsoever. Ah, except the damn squeaky pads in reverse.
  14. I love my 6th gen but ride quality not as smooth as 5th gen?

Can confirm that the suspension in my Limited is quite comfy when I want it to be. Not sure which setting equals the normal SR5 setup.
