  1. Do you change your own oil or have Toyota service center do it?

I have been doing my own oil changes for over 20 years and I will do the same for my new 4Runner. Most dealership have an apprentice do the oil changes and unfortunately at times something is missed as you can read from the posts above. Plus most dealership buy oil in bulk and that is sometimes...
  2. First Oil Change on Hybrid 2025 Trailhunter i-Force Max at 1,010 Miles (Oil Report added)

I just did my oil change at 986 miles this past Sunday. I love the fact that I can actually do the oil change without having to lift the car!. I fit underneath and was able to do all that I need to do. A little tight but doable. Also the manual states 5.9 quarts of oil with the filter. Not 6.

  5. In case of a fire! Tag spotted in engine bay

So today I was checking my engine bay on my 2025 4runner trailhunter and saw this. I kind of know what this is for but anyone know what this truly does?
  6. Turning off the cargo/tailgate lights

Yes. They do time out and turn off. Mine did after a certain time.
  7. Side Storage LED Lantern - did it come with your 4Runner?

My trail hunter came with an empty compartment also. It’s an option of course. Pretty sad really because it’s a feature that overlanding would use. Just like the removable speaker.
  8. My car trailer setup, anyone find better brake pads?

In my other car I usually go to ceramic brake pads. Mainly for the brake dust mostly. But that might give you a better bite for towing.
