Put signs in back window which say "2025 4 Runner = Squeaky Brakes. Toyota do better" If I wanted a car that didn't work as advertised I'd get a Tesla.

I tow a 3000lb or so 13 foot Scamp travel trailer; barely notice it is there.

After another "fix" of the brakes at the 10,000 mile service - sounded like a kid learning the clarinet within two hours. 3 "fixes" and 7 months of squeeking and counting.

Mine squeals whenever it has sat for a few hours. Esp bad in the mornings and when damp or wet. I can certainly reproduce throughout the day. Every now and then it does not do it - I buy lottery tickets on that trip.

Pumping brakes didn't help for me. TY for the suggestion though. I would recite poetry before starting the vehicle if it makes the squeal go away. 10,000 mile service is coming up. Let's see if Toyota cares at all to address but I doubt theywill. I've learned with Toyota to keep my expectations...

Thank you for the information. In the end their bottom line is most important to them. Probably why, after seeing they had a problem with the 4 Runner brakes, they kept producing and selling them. A big F you to every customer; knowing every owner would have to waste hours of their time trying...
