  1. Do you change your own oil or have Toyota service center do it?

Wow after hearing y’all’s stories, I think I’m Lucky haha. Of course I could make a mistake doing it, but I’d rather own up to it than have to fight a shop.
  2. Do you change your own oil or have Toyota service center do it?

I had a bad experience with my 89 Corolla after a shop changed the oil. They left the oil filler cap off and oil spilled everywhere in the engine bay. Since then, just been doing them all myself.
  3. Has anyone used POR 15 undercoating?

I used POR15 on my 69 mustang for undercoat. I’d recommend it. Time consuming though for sure.
  4. Burns Canyon Side Quest

Looks like fun! I was also surprised how well the 4Runner did on some similar trails I’ve been on.
  5. Georgia, Georgia

We did the trail up to Steel Knob/Chestnut mountain. That was pretty fun and tested out some of the features pretty good. I’d recommend it. Of course there are the usual trails, Charlie’s Creek, Sarah’s creek. Etc. We also took a few side trails off of Nimble Will road south of Elijah, there...
  6. Murdered out / blacked out TRD ORP on 2" Rough Country level lift, 275/70R18 Destination XT tires

Does your Toyota emblem Light up? That would look pretty slick from a rear view. The tires and offset look perfect!
  7. Post your Mileage (Odometer)!

    I just hit 5K yesterday.
  8. Dogs / Pets ride-along photos thread! 🐾

    They love going on trips
  9. Exterior MOLLE Panels compatible with stock Trailhunter Roof Rack

Let me know what they say. It says Factory Roof Rails.
  10. Exterior MOLLE Panels compatible with stock Trailhunter Roof Rack

I just saw Rago just released some that attach to the stock rack and they look slick...
  11. Black Trailhunter Wheels + 295 BFG KO3 + Wescott lift on 2025 4runner Limited

I’m going from a 02 F350 diesel. Agreed on the cloud feeling! Been thinking about going to 295 also, but I have such a hard time getting new tires when the ones I have are still in good condition.
  12. Rate this setup for a new 98% On-road and 2% Off-road build!

Doing it yourself you would only save $1000. Seems like an ok price to me to install the lift balance and mount tires + alignment. From what I know lift kit is pretty easy to install but I’ve never done it personally on a 4Runner. Only installed a ford truck lift kit.
  13. Washington trail photos

That’s amazing! Thanks for sharing the photos. Now I really want to go.
  14. Washington trail photos

My wife and I were planning to do the wind River high route (skurka) in July this year, but instead we got lucky and will have a baby in October instead. Sounds like we’ll have to wait until the baby can carry his own weight lol.
  15. Puddle lights installed (Trailhunter projection light)

No way! I was just saying how they need a trail hunter version of the TRD pro puddle lights. Must have them! Where did you buy those?
  16. Interior MOLLE panels

I have a 60% related question, has anyone found exterior Molle panels that are made to attach to the stock ARB roof rack that comes with the trail hunter? I have found ā€œuniversalā€ ones but all the others are made to attach to that company’s roof rack, Gobo, Cali, prinsu, etc all attach to...
  17. 4th of July - Georgia Traverse Trip

Finally got around to giving the trail hunter a good wash after our adventure. Had light pinstripes from some of the trails but not anything too bad, however did find some decent damage to the rim. Not sure when that happened. You can also see where it rubbed the tire sidewall too.
  18. Rock Chips - Beware -

I noticed several dings and scratches pretty quickly after we bought the 4Runner. Seems like the paint is pretty soft. PPF might be worth the investment if you’re planning on keeping resale value on the paint.
  19. Washington trail photos

Great picture on the ledge! That looks like a fun trip. I’ve been wanting to do some hiking in Cascades (but I live in GA). Maybe a road trip is in order!
  20. Grill lights installed with OEM dash panel switch / button

Where did you buy the buttons from? I’d like to get some custom ones but I can only find preset items.
