I pulled the overhead console and plugged the camera in and tested it without reconnecting the console plug. I got a voice that said there was a problem when I turned on the ignition. I turned ignition off and reconnected the overhead console and everything was fine. We will see if I get the...
Yes, I broke a few tabs on the bezel. Couldn’t get my fingers under the whole assy very well. Fingers are still sore from trying. The few broken tabs did not make much of a difference. Bezel snapped back on and is sitting nice and flush, so no need to replace IMO.
Thanks for the write-up and info! I installed this FitcamX on the weekend, including the rear camera. Other than breaking tabs getting the overhead console down, everything went smoothly and I am very happy with the clean installed look of both cameras.
If anyone in the Calgary area is interested in swapping a Heritage Blue smooth hood for a Heritage Blue sport hood (with scoop), let me know. My hood has full PPF and ceramic coating since new.
Ordered this lift kit from Krave Automotive prior to delivery of new 4Runner ORP. I have since decided to hold off on a lift for now. These can take weeks, if not months to get in. Avoid the wait and save the tax, selling at $785 CAD. This is the same price Krave Automotive sells it at before...
I bought this roll-up tool organizer. Loaded it up with only the tools I needed.

Looking great! But then again, I am biased to the Heritage Blue. ;)
I had PPF and ceramic coating done at a small shop here in Calgary. They did a great job! I ceramic coated my wheels for easy cleaning. There is a great web reference where a 4Runner owner in BC ceramic coated his wheels...
Been following your build, looking good! seems like your last post showing the rear pillar brake lights got snuffed on the server down/rebuild. Looking forward to seeing more pics of that setup!
Saw this on Amazon and thought of your build…
I found these on a few websites, Aliexpress being the cheapest. Did you get yours yet and where did you order them?
Picking up my new Heritage Blue 4Runner Monday, so ordering up accessories shortly.
Thanks. Having the cameras recalibrated slipped under the radar for me. I have a number of mods planned including new wheels and lift, but forgot the about the cameras.
Which dealer recalibrated the cameras for you? I will be doing the same shortly, once my 4Runner arrives and in the same city as you. Watching your build with interest and will be watching for it on the roads!
I believe these are the part numbers:
PTR56-35242-F1 Wheels 18x8 45 offset 28lbs
PT998-34221-2F Centre Cap
It would be a good idea to confirm what I found online when I was researching these wheels or with your local Toyota parts department.
I am waiting on a new Heritage Blue TRD Off-Road Premium which is due mid-June. This wheel and tire combination is one that I too am considering. Trying to keep the weight down to be close to stock. I know stock tire and wheel weighs ~70lbs. This 18" TRD wheel is 28lbs and with a Nitto Ridge...
Good day all! Currently waiting on deliver of a 2025 Heritage Blue TRD Off-Road Premium. These forums are always a good source of info and great place to share. Looking forward to it!
