I have used 4Lo a couple of times. When I start to move forward, at 3 or 4 mph I can feel the trans up-shift. At 9 or 10 mph the tach reads 2600 rpms. It seems to me that it won't up-shift again. Is this normal? How fast is anyone else going in 4Lo?
The seat needs to be calibrated. Move the seat all the way forward, then move it all the way back, tilt the seat back forward, then all the way back. You will hear a beeping when you first start. At some point the beeping will stop. At that point your seat is calibrated. Now you will be able to...
Update to the conversation. I checked Toyota's part and accessories page. The missing cross slat is available now. It comes with the two bolts to attach it. You'll need a T-40 bit to tighten the bolts. I can sleep better now that my roof rack isn't missing a cross slat.

I'm thinking about adding a rear ladder to my 4runner. Westcott Designs posted a video install of their new ladder on a 6th gen. There doesn't look to be much space between the body and the rungs of the ladder. Are the ladders useful? Past 4runner owners, if you had a ladder, did you use it or...

ARB sells quick release pins for recovery boards that are t-slot. The cool thing about Amazon is, order it and see if they work. If not, send it back. I'm going to order some of the load stop t slot for crossbars.
I bought the ARB base rack propane bottle holder, base rack ratchet strap set, and the 4 piece eyebolt tie down set on Amazon. These accessories worked great with the factory rack. 11 lb. propane bottle is in front of the left tub.
I was looking around on Toyota. Com accessories yesterday. I'm going in to talk to the parts guy. I believe you can buy a crossbeam for $90 some odd dollars. I'm wondering what the two indentations on the front of the rack are for?
