I wanted an SR5-4WD. Always bought this model in last 6 4R purchases since 2008. The Gen 6-SR5 does not have the electric seats on driver side. I canceled the SR5 order, and moved up to the Premium.
No idea why they canceled the drivers power seat. The Premium also has the power seat on the...
Toyota of Louisville, KY. We could not deal here in Florida, drove 944 miles for new OR-TRD-Premium, Everest. Paid MSRP and the options.
This was in March, did a source 1000 mile radius of our home in central Florida, dealer advised date of manufacture, name of the ship, arrival at Portland...
Good to hear, Tony. I feel the same way, this is my 7th new 4R since 2008.
More room in back, better handling, surprised at the 4 cylinder power.
I don't see how anyone can complain about the ride, its a truck, or say, a Tacoma with a back end enclosed. Gas mileage, 4334 on the odo, 21.3.
Vince
I am 6'3". This is my 7th 4R since 2008. Only issue was my knee hitting the steering column when braking. The adjustment button kind of cured that, the steering wheel is not where I would like it to be, and I will live with it. IMO, this '25 TRD OR handles better then all the others.
No...
WE live in Central Florida. No luck with dealers here, went to Louisville, Ky to purchase, Toyota of Louisville.
Paid MSRP, and that was it. Got best deal on trade. 944 miles from our home in Lake Placid. This is 7th 4Runner purchase since 2008.
VIN : JTEVA5BR2S5004371. Started to look...
Bug splatter ! On this Premium, a prompt comes up, "Windshield washer tank needs filled". Not exactly those words. I fill up often, as on highways where you get some speed, as soon as the bug hits, I hit the washer, usually does a great job, not 100% on all. One automatic car wash here does...
My wife and I traveled to Louisville, KY to purchase, 944 miles. The guy that handles all paperwork when you check out, does it all. We financed $12K with Toyota Finance of the total after trade-in and cash,
which was a wire to their dealership.
They gave us the original title to take to the...
Dusty - Unless you have already found it, there is a button under the TOYOTA bar, right behind the left light here. A rubber skin cover, just sqeeze it, operates lift up and down. Need key FOB in pocket. Two back there, and one on dash.
I would be disappointed too. I drove 944 miles to take delivery, and when we walked in the showroom, examined everything. When the dealer answered all of our questions, then we did the deal.
Just wonder what it would cost for him to get this rear lift installed by aftermarket, or an...
You are right Dusty, always read everything. If I was him, I would pony up another 5 to 6K, get what he wants, then he can sleep at night.
The Exterior Equipment sheet on my sticker shows it all.
I didn't look back, did the guy that started this thread, have a Premium? I started out to buy a plain jane SR5-PT4WD. When I discovered that the 4R's now, have the mechanical seat. My 22 SR5 has a power drivers seat. So, I moved up to the Premium, and the bonus is the passenger seat is...
No room in the back seat, 6th Gen. If you have kids, a Sienna would be great. I have had 6
5th Gens, back seat always tight. This 2025 has more room at cargo area, and back seat, just a little more.
