Hit them on what? The running board?
  2. Few disappointments

Should'a bought a Land Cruiser Jonny.
  3. Almost got caught in a Bait & Switch at a Wisconsin Dealership

I have no idea where you read that and I haven't seen or heard any reviews like that. Maybe they were referring to the 1958 model?
  4. Almost got caught in a Bait & Switch at a Wisconsin Dealership

And....I did indeed buy a Land Cruiser w/Platinum package. There are a ton of settings you can turn off, much like the annoying eye camera that rings when your not looking straight ahead. You can customize to your own specs. The Land Cruiser is much, much quieter than a 4runner and I'm loving it.
  5. Outrageous dealer prices currently

Dealer issues and fear of Tariffs impacting a late May order for a TRD Pro drove me out of the deal. I test drove a Land Cruiser w/Premium package and bought that instead saving myself over 5K. I love the Land Cruiser which with a small lift and new tires can do virtually everything that the Pro...
  6. Platinum Hybrid 2025 4Runner Delivered! (Wind Chill Pearl / Dark Navy)

Very nice runner you have there. Congrats.
  7. 25% tariff on ALL imported autos announced

Absolutely. Later this year I'll look to try to find some 18" TRD Pro wheels and 33" tires. Check out landcruiserforum.com to see some builds.
  8. 25% tariff on ALL imported autos announced

Off road capable with A/T tires. It's 1.1 inch closer to the ground. Skid plates recommended and sway bar disconnect is availble, but you have to search for them. I liked the LC ride as smoother, very responsive and nice luxury. You could compare it to a Platinum I guess in that sense but many...
  9. 25% tariff on ALL imported autos announced

LOL, I close on a Land Cruiser Premium on Wednesday. Hoping I dont lose my deposit on the TRD Pro that is still in Tahara waiting for the boat.
  10. 25% tariff on ALL imported autos announced

Guys, Until we hear directly from Toyota I would be VERY cautious listening to dealerships. I have heard it as well "They wont tariff your TRD Pro because it will be already built". I called BS. Tariffs are assessed at the Port. Unless something changes, I surmise all new port arrivals after...
  11. 25% tariff on ALL imported autos announced

Dealer is not correct. Reciprocal tariffs are for other items. The order is 25% for ANY imported vehicle. Japan has a 0% tariff on US Autos. We currently have a 2.5% tariff on japanese vehicles.
  12. 25% tariff on ALL imported autos announced

Well, Toyota already runs 11 Factories in the US and just opened the new battery plant in North Carolina. It doesnt seem to matter with Trump or his sidekick Howard Nutlick...I mean Lutnick. I will not pay another dime for my order. I have everything planned payment wise etc., it had been...
  13. TRD Pro 2025 4Runner 6th Gen has landed at port!

It'd be nice to see the date of this letter. I surmise this is an ancient letter.
  14. Delivered! HYBRID 2025 Off-Road Premium - First Impressions Review, Photos & Plans

My understanding is that TRD Pro and Trailhunter will not have the start/stop feature. Anyone hear differently? Or, is it all Hybrid runners?
  15. Anyone test drive and reject their 6th gen upon delivery? [update: took delivery after taking test drive]

There was a lot of hate here and elsewhere over a "4Banger" out performing the V6. Many who commented sounded like it was an insult to their manhood going to the Turbo 4. Time will tell but having driven one, I'm sold.
  16. Will tariff on imported vehicles impact your 4Runner purchasing plans? [WARNING: NO POLITICS; JUST POLICIES TALK]

My Pro was just built. On a side note, the dealership and I spoke at length about this. I have an out if need be, but they said that Toyota has not pushed any information down the pipe to dealers regarding Tariff issues. If POTUS is saying reciprocal tariffs, and keeps it to that, Japan has NO...
  17. Will tariff on imported vehicles impact your 4Runner purchasing plans? [WARNING: NO POLITICS; JUST POLICIES TALK]

This is FALSE. I watched an economist on video that came out today in the Wall Street Journal where they said that it is much more complicated than just signing an E.O. She points out that it can take close to 6 months to get everything done in the background before the action happens...
