This is a look at how the 2025 4Runner Trailhunter fog lights (standard equipment) switches from white to amber. Switchable foglights is an option on the TRD Pro.
We should be able to buy OEM fender flares for any trim and swap them onto any other trim right? Let's say I wanted gloss black fender flares of the TRD Pro on a TRD Sport. In looking at the different models, I don't see any body differences that would prevent this.
2025 4Runner trims pricing estimates by Kirk Kreifels. Agree or disagree with these numbers?
He discusses it in his video just posted:
Here was his first look video:
In case anyone missed it in the press release, the factory warranty is as follows below. Seems to be fairly standard (to industry) coverage in terms of length and mileage.
But anyone thinking of picking up extended warranty at some point? Or does the 4Runner historically been pretty issue free...
Nice to see the 6,000 pound tow capacity up from the 5th gen's 5,000 lbs. But curious why it's 500 lbs less than the new Tacoma which gets up to 6,500 pounds towing capacity?
Since 4Runner and Tacoma share same platform and powertrains, what's making the difference?
This is the V6 i-Force Max in the Tundra, but the hybrid system works the same way on the 4-Cylinder i-Force Max on the 2025 4Runner. I watched this multiple times when considering the new Tacoma hybrid, it's that good of a deep dive.
Also, for a quick visual primer on the i-Force Max...
So far we know 2025 4Runner colors will feature:
Mudbath (likely TRD Pro exclusive color)
Everest
Heritage Blue
Since none of these are from the 2024 Tacoma or the 2024 4Runner color palettes, any other guesses / predictions for the other colors we might see?
Here's how to get remove the big honkin air dam. Luckily it's so simple -- just unbolt 9 bolts.
This is the air dam.
Looks soo much better removed (from a 2024 Tacoma)
