I got to drive a 24’ MY 4Runner TRD Pro and honestly I understand why people miss the V6.

Sorry to hear that man. I will say could you possibly lower your seat even more to fit better?

Sorry for taking awhile to respond. At Six foot tall and having the seat mid way between high and low I had roughly 1 1/2 inch left of head space due to the Sunroof. If it didn’t have a sunroof I say it would be about 2- 2 1/2 inch of head space

I’ll get back to you on that. I did sit in it yesterday and felt like I had a good amount headroom left. I’ll have to look back at the footage and tell you the exact amount of head space left

I have to agree. I mean one thing I’ve said time and time again to people and in my videos is that it could be worse, they could have done an all electric version instead of a Hybrid. Nonetheless it’s a great conversation starter

I might be getting my hands on a 24’ MY Land Cruiser this weekend to review. This will be great because it can give me and some viewers an idea of how the 4Runner will feel.

Oh I know it does but for some reason this just felt more old and analog that some buyers are looking for.

So I’ve never driven a 4Runner before and finally I got to drive a TRD Pro model. I actually understand why so many are worried about the new 4 Cylinder. Although the V6 is old and so is that 5 Speed auto, the engine is just bulletproof. Everything about this model feels analogue which is...

Poll: Which 2025 4Runner competitor are you considering (if any)?

I wouldn’t understand if there was a difference. They stated that the A-Pilar to the B pillar are similar. After the B-Pillar is where everything changes.

Poll: Which 2025 4Runner competitor are you considering (if any)?

Here are The models I was looking at getting. All are in the Toyota family minus the Rivian R2. Land Cruiser- I knew a new LC was coming and had a feeling it would feature a more boxy styling that mimicked the past LC. When I saw the official reveal, I was liking it so far but then I saw that...

Poll: Which 2025 4Runner competitor are you considering (if any)?

Headroom for a 4Runner will be the exact same at Tacoma. Where you will see the difference is on the Land Cruiser. Add about 2-3 inches more and you’ll get your answer.

Comparison: 2025 6th Gen 4Runner TRD Pro vs... 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro -- Which One To Pick? (Video)

Land Cruiser was on my radar but I think it’s not my cup of tea. The 4Runner has this rugged look where I feel that Toyota tamed the LC in. Also recently got this hoodie.

    2025 4Runner TRD Off-Road Spotted!

Yeah I don’t think the TRD OR will get the blacked out lights. It would probably be TRD Sport, Platinum, TRD Pro and Trailhunter that get the blacked out ones.

    2025 4Runner TRD Off-Road Spotted!

Not sure. Could also be a prototype that is going to an Autoshow and they want to hide it before the public debut for the trim level.

    2025 4Runner TRD Off-Road Spotted!

Likely because they haven’t shown off that trim level as of yet

    2025 4Runner TRD Off-Road Spotted!

Saw this post on TFLNOW YouTube page and was looking at the model overall. Looks to have the rims of a TRD Off Road model with a higher up suspension. Also there is now hood badge that states I Force Max so this is the regular 2.4T.

I recently reviewed the 2024 Tacoma with the i-Force engine!

I forgot that the 4Runner in Canada doesn’t have those trims. Weird

I recently reviewed the 2024 Tacoma with the i-Force engine!

I think the TRD Sport Premium could be offered with it since it is offering all the premium touches
