I installed them on my 2025 TRD Pro in Underground grey color and think the look great. Don't know if they'll prevent door dings, but after 4 months, I don't have any. I also like to walk in a parking lot si I tend park far away from most cars.
One of my employees installed them for me and I think as long as you take your time when installing and "measure twice, so you can stick once" and use blue painters tape to make where they need to be placed, I think you'll be fine. Again, just take your time, because once they're stuck to your...
I installed the OEM crossbars on my 25' TRD Pro and same thing, annoying wind noise. I want to keep the crossbars in place and would like to eliminate the wind noise.
Wow, that was really interesting and informative . My complete faith in Toyota is renewed knowing that the EPA is the problem!! Thanks for sending the link.
LOL and no kidding its not a Camry, Prius or Rav4 and if my only concern was gas mileage, I would've bought one of those. I've owned a 1990,1997,2006,2010,2016 and now a 2025 so I guess I'm a big fan of the 4Runner and Toyota overall. However, as a consumer with reasonable expectations with...
I just took this picture of a Trailhunter which has the same engine as my TRD Pro. How should a buyer feel if they paid $10k extra for the Hybrid engine and their mileage if a lot lower than what is advertised? If it was purchased solely for the extra torque and horsepower, then fine. If the...
Wow, cool data. I also own a boat with triple Yamaha 300's, but I prefer not to discuss the MPG or per hour usage. It is what it is and I enjoy my boat!!
I live in CT, so off-roading is really not much of an option. I also own a 2025 TRD Pro and love it, with the sole exception of what I’m getting for mpg in a hybrid.
If your buying a new 4Runner for the power and want to spend the extra $10k for off roading, then by all means, buy a hybrid. If...
lol back. I’m at 17 mpg and my expectation based on what Toyota claims is, “i-Force MAX hybrid, which comes standard with 4WD, is rated at 23 mpg city / 24 highway / 23mpg.”
My earlier generation 4Runner and Tacoma both got this mpg and better, but I bought a hybrid and expected to get in the...
This is right off of the Toyota website. I brought up the specs for a TRD Pro and an all gas engine.
Est. mpg rating (city/highway/combined) *
20/26/22
23/24/23
I totally get that they're completely different vehicles with different purposes. I'd be happy with low to mid 20's for MPG for the 4runner, not 17mpg for a hybrid. Just not what I expected for the new generation after driving multiple generations in the past for over 20 plus years.
I'm not really worried either about the MPG, but just a bit disappointed with what I thought it should be considering its a Toyota Hybrid. My company also has a bunch (2)Camry and (6)Rav4 Hybrids and they all get over 40mpg.
My wife drives a 2024 Lexus RX350 Hybrid and consistently gets 35 miles per gallon and even a bit better when she only drives in the city. I took delivery of my 2025 TRD Pro Hybrid last week and just broke 500 miles. I love it, all except for the mileage which is disappointing to say the least...
Thanks for the replies and the videos. Unfortunately my family just voted down the Underground Trail Hunter because of the interior and bronze rims. I guess I'll just have to wait for a TRD Pro.
Has anyone seen the mineral soft tex interior up close in a Trail Hunter? I'm on the list for a Trail Hunter in Underground for the exterior and Mineral soft tex for the interior which is the only color option. Delivery will not be until May and I'm not sure how I feel about not having a black...
