Nucar Toyota in Norwood MA honored online price of kit with stacked codes, they only charged a little over a grand for labor, and it was a state wide tax free weekend. Win!
BTW, with the kit the ride of the SR5 is CLEARLY less jarring over bumps and potholes in the road, and it even seems more...
I appreciate all the info on this thread!
Got my SR5 done, $3138 OTD, including labor.
Definitely a smoother ride on the road. Now what do I do with the old parts?
Hey OP, thanks for this thread!
I was fluid filming and adding skid plates this weekend when I saw this thread, so I thought Iād check my full-size spare I added a month ago. And, yep, I had a small amount of wear on the same spots. Added some packing material from the skid plates as a buffer...
Nice updates! Iād like to update my sr5ās suspension eventually, too, but money is tight.
I remember reading here cv axles on sr5 were less robust than on other trims. Have you considered that as a future upgrade?
Mine. 1200 miles and very happy with the ride.
18 inch Tacoma TRDs with 265/70/18 Wildpeak AT3W tires.
Lots of good info and build ideas on this site. Thank you all.
I have 4 oem wheels/tires, excellent shape, $200 each.
Less than 1200 miles before I swapped to 18" TRD wheels with 265/70 Wildpeaks.
Buy the set, or just one to use as a better spare than the SR5 donut.
I am located in Boston and can drive up to 30 mins out for transaction. Thanks!
