I'm 99% sure I'm going back to a 5th gen. Yes, the new one is faster and handles better, but the cheapness of the interior is something I see/feel/hear every day. I also don't care for the visibility out of the windshield, the headlights are worse than the late model 5th gen headlights, and the...
Hard to understand the OP's frustration. The 5th gen that I had consistently got just over 16 mpg in stock form. 325 miles per tank on a 23 gallon tank like clockwork. This vehicle is fairly similar, with around 20-25 miles less range, but you are filling 16 gallons vs. 20 once the fuel light...
For those of us whose driver and passenger side windows rattle when down a couple of inches, and/or all the way down, let's file enough complaints with the NHTSA to get Toyota to issue a TSB. It's free, and only takes a minute or so:

I miss my 2022 5th gen. Much better headlights, larger coverage area for the windshield wipers, less cramped feeling and better quality interior, limo-like back seat, better sounding engine, smoother transmission, no windshield spray in rain when the active vents operate, softer ride over bumps...
I agree about the windshield wipers. The 5th gen was fantastic in the rain - good visibility. The 6th gen is very frustrating in that the driver's side wiper doesn't sweep far enough, pulling water into the driver's line of sight.
I’m trying to recall if the limitations of the wheel position and entry/exit existed in the 5th gen. It would be helpful to sit in one and compare side by side.

I would fluid film the frame. Cheap insurance for salty climates. You can likely find a professional near you if you don’t feel like doing it yourself.
The same thing happened to me. I ordered Method wheels through Discount Tire, and they installed the same splined lugs. Not only do they look terrible, but I believe they may not be safe, as they do not thread onto the studs past the mounting holes on the wheels.
Extended thread lugs (like...
