The main issue I have with electronic/digital/automatic mirrors is loss of control.
I prefer a fully manual mirror. And, no, "but you can turn it off", isn't good enough.

I definitely go months when I don't get off-road and engage 4WD. But I do try to get off pavement as often as I can and I engage 4WD whenever I'm on dirt.
I don't think it's anything you need be concerned about, but seek to find a little dirt when you can. And I expect that even a hundred feet...
Possibly, but, if so, that's not a failing of the inverter itself. I blame the lawyers. :)
It occurred to me, that I could keep a power supply in the car to have more power while driving, if there's a need. There's been no need so far.
Keep. We had running boards on our 3rd Gen and we miss them on our 5th gen (which we bought used). Will definitely get running boards when we get our 6th gen.

If I could afford a dedicated off-roader, it would be a Wrangler, and I would only have a Wrangler if it were a dedicated off-roader. I see no use for other Jeep-branded vehicles.
