I did a trail called Rabbit Valley in Colorado. Most of the trail is wide. But there is a cool lunch spot with great views. This is where I got into trouble. The 4runner is pretty wide in spots.
I am not expecting any help from the dealer unfortunately. I will ask them their opinion on fixing the paint. Probably touch up. I don't think the paint chip was from the trail. More likely highway. Were I live there is a ton of dust and rocks and broken windshields are common.
I am happy to share. I am using a DJI Mini 4 pro. It has the ability to active track a target. The hard part is keeping the lock. In the case of this video my wife was driving and I was controlling the drone from passenger seat. It is easier said then done. If the vehicles are moving too...
Interesting that you mentioned jack of all trades because that is exactly how I would describe it. I have a Jeep a Ram 1500 and a 4runner and the 4runner doesn't excel at anything but it comes in 2nd on everything. Well I guess it does excel at gas mileage compared to the other two vehicles.
I have never driven the 5th gen. So for me it is the opposite. My only concern is longevity. Time will tell on that. Will probably see it in Tacomas first.

Thank you for watching my video. It was super fun to make. I also have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ. It is great offroad but is not fun on the highway. Plus because of it's age I am not afraid to take it places I won't take the 4runner.
I am in the Jeep club in my area and to be honest I...
