  1. Can the key fob alone (without the paid plan) remote start the 4Runner?

I know that both the app and key fob can remote start the truck while paying for the subscription, but I do not plan on renewing it after the complementary year subscription and hope that I can just remote start my truck from my window. I haven’t found anywhere for sure saying that it will...
  2. Seat belt alarm - disable or lower sound?

Do you mind linking the Carista you bought?
  3. Heritage Grille letters - color matched overlays part numbers (Matte Black, Imperial Red, Reflective Black, Mud Bath, White, Bronze)

The original letters pulled off with a plastic scraper but left small scratches. I replaced the chrome letters with matte black and it looks perfect. I did hit the letters and grill with the blow-dryer first.
  4. New York WTS - Factory Mudflaps

I'm not sure TBH. Maybe if there's a photo of both models side by side it's easier to tell?
  5. New York WTS - Factory Mudflaps

    Westchester County.
  6. Visual reminder to oil change during break in (at 1000 miles)

I changed the first oil today at 1400 miles and it was surprisingly dark for a brand new engine. I feel like it was darker than usual compared to NA engines. To your point, turbos beat up the oil more. Maybe it's not a bad idea to do 3 oil changes in 10k versus 2? Just surprised when thinking...
  7. Visual reminder to oil change during break in (at 1000 miles)

Care car nut specifically says to change the engine oil at 5k at the very max. I always change oil at 5k with synthetic on all my vehicles, but I wonder if there is a long term benefit to this particular engine to change the oil less than 5k or is that just overkill? He knows his stuff, but I...

  10. New York WTS - Factory Running Boards

They came on my SR5 as a factory option that I didn't want. They were taken right off. Local pickup only. Dealer charged me $345, but am looking to get around half that.
  11. New York WTS - Factory Mudflaps

They came on my SR5 as a factory option that I didn't want. They were taken right off. I can ship these but prefer to sell locally. Dealer charged me $160, but am looking to get half that.
  12. Aftermarket Hood Insulation / Soundproof Mat installed

The Amazon listings are both out of stock. I called my local Toyota parts and the correct part numbers are 53341-35170 and 90467-07229 for the pins. According to them, the 2025 4Runner and 2024-25 Tacoma hoods and insulators/pins are different. Here are the Tacoma part numbers for comparison...
  13. California WTB your take off mud flaps

I’m listing mine if still interested. DM me.
  14. Heritage Grille letters - color matched overlays part numbers (Matte Black, Imperial Red, Reflective Black, Mud Bath, White, Bronze)

I'm curious if someone has pulled them off and how it went. Mine are on the rear of my soon to be arriving SR5 with Toyota chrome letters that I want to pull off. Just not sure if I need to hit them first with the heat gun lightly or they peel right off.
  15. Adding parts to the truck while in transit

I put a deposit down on a SR5 that doesn't come with two options/accessories that I'm wanting, which are fixed running boards as a $375 option and crossbars which are under accessories. Two questions, can either or both of these get added at the dealership once it arrives and anyone have luck...
  16. Lift/leveling kit voiding the factory warranty?

Thanks for the advice and replies. I figured there's probably no hard answer and it's probably case-by-case. First time buying a new Toyota and don't have any experience with those dealerships.
  17. Lift/leveling kit voiding the factory warranty?

Hey everyone! New to this forum and a new SR5. I plan to level it with a 2.5” x 1” kit and 33” tire, but not sure if I have to wait until 60,001 miles. Does anyone know what Toyota allows and what they say “voids the factory warranty “?
