  1. ICE CAP SR5+ 4WD Build. 295/70/17 MT Baja Boss AT & Fuel FC860 HYPE +10 Offset Wheels + Katzkin leather interior

Man those tires and wheels look so sweet! I like that they aren’t all black. I don’t get the appeal of black wheels, even though mine came with the black TRD wheels.
  2. Dead Simple Mods & Accessories

    Great, thanks!
  3. Dead Simple Mods & Accessories

Does it seem to make a significant difference?
  4. Weather Tech window visors full set now available

Well I’ve looked at so many different brands, I confused myself! I don’t think AVS has theirs out yet. Sorry about that. I’ll just wait a while and see what develops.
  5. Weather Tech window visors full set now available

I've only ever installed the AVS ones on previous vehicles. They worked fine but are a bit thinner than the WT ones. Now I'm having second thoughts myself. May go with the devil I know, the AVS.
  6. Weather Tech window visors full set now available

In case you were waiting like me, Weather Tech now has the window visors for all 4 side windows. https://www.weathertech.com/side-window-deflectors-toyota-4runner.html?year=2025&source=int&wt_settype2=Dark&wt_settype=FrontRearSet&ymmSearch=true
  7. Real World MPG by Owners (gas non-hybrid 4Runner) - Post Yours ā›½ļø

Um yeah, I knew that. My screenshot shows the mileage from my Frontier (traded in on the 4R) and my motorhome, both much worse than the 4R. I guess I was just sneaking in a little brag about the RAV and how well the PHEV maximizes the MPG. ;)
  8. Real World MPG by Owners (gas non-hybrid 4Runner) - Post Yours ā›½ļø

22.9 so far. Hand calculated. 80% highway, eco mode. My wife’s RAV4 PHEV is getting over 56 MPG.
  9. PSA: Toyota App and adding new vehicle - DO NOT add the vehicle via vin on Toyota website or through the app

It’s a good thing Toyota builds great vehicles because their software is garbage. The app, the infotainment, all of it. Sorry, rant over. šŸ˜„
  10. My 5th Gen vs. my new 6th Gen 4Runner comparison IMHO

I may be all alone on this hill but I hated the styling of the 5th gen 4Runner (and 3rd gen Taco). Enough that I wouldn’t buy one, but eagerly awaited the 6th gen. Toyota hit the styling out of the park, and it drives great, too! Great choice, OP!
  11. Toyota "Premium Horn" install with before / after sound clip videos

Thanks for this write-up. I did mine this week, nice upgrade. The next day I did my wife’s RAV4 Prime in about half the time even though it’s a slightly more difficult install.
  12. Hele Box sleeping platform installed

Yeah my brain is weird that way. Always trying to organize and plan, whether it’s necessary or not. šŸ˜† I’ll have the Hele Outdoors sleeping pad in a few days, look forward to trying it, and will report babk.
  13. Hele Box sleeping platform installed

My 4Runner is gas, I canā€˜t really address how well it would work in the hybrid….my guess is about the same, but I don’t know for sure. I did not order a pad when I ordered the Helebox, I wanted to make sure it fit well. I have since ordered the Helebox pad. I will update this thread when I...
  14. Hele Box sleeping platform installed

I've been asked to write up my experience setting up the Helebox (https://heleoutdoors.com) in the 6th gen 4Runner. I ordered the Solo Helebox since I'll be camping by myself. They also have a double wide one that should fit in the 4Runner if you need the additional area. Helebox components...
  15. Is the back too short for sleeping?

See post #32 in this thread. It’s a great solution for sleeping in the 6th gen.
  16. Is the back too short for sleeping?

    Thatā€˜s what I’m thinking, too.
  17. Instrument Cluster not holding selected guages

I finally figured out the issue, you (apparently) have to have the app installed, and a profile set up. Then in the vehicle screen setup remote access and when that is granted, choose your profile on the screen. It’s a hassle but now the vehicle recognizes me and saves my settings. 😤
  18. Is the back too short for sleeping?

Plenty of length to sleep inside, 80ā€ when the front seat is moved all the way up. Here’s my Helebox set up. I haven’t ordered a mattress yet, I wanted to make sure it fit properly first.
