I’d love to hear someone successfully installed the magnaflow overland series cat back on their hybrid. I know the website says it fits the TRD pro, which is a hybrid, but it also says on the site that it doesn’t fit on the hybrid… so I’m lacking confidence to spent the $1k.
I’m excited to hear what you have to say once you get the Sxth Element intake installed, and stoked to hear you say you’ve been tuned by OTT. Those are two things I’m looking forward to once I change the state we have our 4Runner registered in.
Here’s what I was talking about No-Drone Technology (NDT) right from the Magnaflow website:
“#19657 3” diameter mandrel bent main piping passes through an all-new specifically tuned performance oval and round mufflers with No Drone Technology (NDT) before exiting in a high-clearance single...
I would also like to find some slightly used OME suspension from a Trail Hunter, to put on our TRD ORP. Looks like your original post was in May; it's October now, so 5 months later, any luck?
A lot of folks are pretty dedicated to their OTT. I'm excited to see how this may compare. Likely very similar, but with a higher initial price tag to obtain your own Access Port; however, you'll have easier access to future updates or the ability to make slight changes yourself, rather than...
Awesome! Thank you for sharing. This has been the way I want to go, but I haven’t heard it until now. Unfortunately it looks like magnaflow says it won’t fit the hybrid so I’ll have to wait until they make one that does (fingers crossed).
Is the no drone technology successful at minimizing...
instead of sourcing new bolts just to have them be black, maybe spray them with some black spray paint and toss them in the oven at 300 degrees for a while to really bake the spray paint on.. maybe a lower profile bolt as these factory bolt heads may still snag in your tires? These look great...
From what I’ve seen on YouTube, to clear larger tires people frequently remove these factory “crash plates” as they protrude into the wheel well and rub the larger tires. One of the videos mentioned with the factory plates removed, snow built up heavily in the open void and they needed some type...
Picked up a TRD Off-road Premium iForce MAX! Everest Green. We needed something bigger than our 2019 RAV4 Adventure after a new addition to the family. Stoked to be part of this community! Long time Toyota family, with three generations of manual transmission Tacomas over 22 years.
