  1. Rear Dashcam Mount

I had bracket 3D printed, and then used the headliner clip in the center and some 3m tape to mount the camera to the bracket. Ran the rear camera cable through the roof headliner to avoid airbags, it comes out near the driver sun visor.
  2. Dash Cam - any better than the other?

It really depends on your usage and your preferences. I've had blackvue cameras in my last 2 vehicles, and went with a Vantrue this time around. I prefer the functionality and access of Blackvue over Vantrue, but the latter supports 4K in both front and rear cameras.
  3. Real-world use of 4Runner’s 2400W Inverter Power Outlet: gear, tips & cautions

Yea, no issues with AC and I like that it remembers that I have it on recirculation. I do wish there were options to use both the inverter and the aux switches with the ignition off. On my wrangler, I had an option to run the aux switch off battery or ignition and you could tell it to remember...
  4. Real-world use of 4Runner’s 2400W Inverter Power Outlet: gear, tips & cautions

Has anyone been able to get the EcoFlow app to work in car play? It’s car play enabled but last month when I tried it wouldn’t display any devices. In contrast, the working ICECO app is handy to make sure the fridge is running and at the right temp and displaying that on the 14” screen vs...
  5. Real-world use of 4Runner’s 2400W Inverter Power Outlet: gear, tips & cautions

I didn’t spend a lot of time, but the last time I tested, I think the car had to be running in order for the cargo area inverter to work. I had planned to transition to an induction cooktop while camping, but not if I have to have the engine running to use it, even if it’s for a short time...
  6. 2025 TrailHunter Hybrid - aftermarket or custom parts (setting up for 4 weeks westcoast roadtrip with my dog)

I haven’t bought or seen this, but am considering the 23 zero 5 arm which is supposedly designed to not interfere with the hatch. Peregrine PRO 5 Arm 270 Degree Awning
  7. California WTS Trailhunter Rock Rails

Yep. i would but unsure on shipping costs. How far north are you? I’m heading up to Napa/sonoma later this month and could probably deliver depending on where you’re at.
  8. OVERINFLATED TIRES on my delivery YESTERDAY 5/16/25 DANGEROUS! PEOPLE CHECK TIRES AFTER DELIVERY!

Stock trailhunter tires call for 33 psi. My spare was also way overinflated. I have one of the dash menu options set to report the tire pressure for all 5 tires which is handy.
  9. California WTS Trailhunter Rock Rails

I’ll try to take some pictures on the holiday or this weekend. I picked them up at NYTOP in Walnut, CA, they were super cool guys, loaded them into my 4Runner for me and even offered to install them but I was short on time. They are heavy, the NYTOP guys said about 70-75 pounds a piece. i had...
  10. California Sold: WTS Trailhunter Rock Rails

I just removed the OEM Trailhunter rock rails from my 4Runner, they are in good shape, haven't had a chance to do any off-roading yet. I'm located in Southern California (South Bay Area), price for both rock rails and all the bolts (8 each side) is $750 OBO. Here are photos from when I picked...
  11. Wolfbox G900 TriPro Rear View Camera Review

Looks good, what path did you take to run the rear camera cable?
  12. The 2400W DC-AC Inverter is loud

I tested a bit yesterday and I think the car has to be running to use the inverter, so at most, you’d probably only be able to charge for an hour before it shuts off automatically. In other words, you probably will not be sleeping all night with the inverter running. i also threw my iceco...
  13. Torque Specs for OE Toyota Roof Rails?

Were you the one that asked for ARB removal instructions? If yes, it was in that PDF, 13# if not. EDIT: That's wasn't you, see this, hopefully it helps: https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/help-does-anyone-know-how-to-remove-the-arb-roof-rack.3847/
  14. 1st 6th Gen on Devils Staircase in Sedona AZ

I think we may have done that trail in the pink jeep tour we took, if not, something very similar. Awesome that you did it in your 4Runner, I would have done the same...that's why we bought these, right? ;-)
  15. Trailhunter questions: compressor air hose / chuck, Aux harness / pigtails, miles at delivery?

You'll have to double check, but I was searching for some other parts and came across this: PT949-89240-AB. On a few sites, it describes it as the on-board compressor for 4Runner and it fits just one model: 4RUN Compressor On B - Toyota (PT949-89240-AB). I couldn't find any pictures, so I...
  16. Blackvue DR970X LTE Plus Dash Cam + Blackvue Battery install. Rear cam bracket from amazon for 5th gen. - DIY instructions & photos

Thanks for the insight and additional details. I managed to drain the batteries in my last 2 jeeps, by forgetting to turn off my blackvue before going out of town. I had a blackvue 900x in my 4xe, it was wired to one of the auxiliary switches which worked well as long as I remembered to turn...
  17. Blackvue DR970X LTE Plus Dash Cam + Blackvue Battery install. Rear cam bracket from amazon for 5th gen. - DIY instructions & photos

Thanks. This is going to make my decision harder, I've had BlackVue cameras in my last 2 vehicles, but was thinking about trying out thinkware to see if image quality was any better and to see how their parking radar feature worked.
  18. Blackvue DR970X LTE Plus Dash Cam + Blackvue Battery install. Rear cam bracket from amazon for 5th gen. - DIY instructions & photos

Is this available for purchase? I didn’t see it on the website. I was planning to buy a thinkware or BlackVue but didn’t see the barrel adapters on your site.
