Luno has slip on shades intended for over landing.
Open door, slip mesh shade over window from top down, close door.
Not sure if secure at highway speeds.
The backlight is a separate hot lead and would use a second aux switch.
Or do what I did and wire the backlight to ignition switched fuse instead of to a switch
That response proves that they did not spend a minute researching Toyotas documentation before throwing out a generic answer.
Your vehicles user manual clearly states each aux switch's max amp draw. It is based on the fuse and relay already provided. It is ridiculous to I troduce a second...
No not using both. Just took photo with both so folks could compare them. Metal ones are in storage until I can ascertain how long the printed ones will hold up here in the desert.
They are 3D printed with carbon fiber reinforced PETG.
They snap on and hold securely. A quick yank upwards to remove them.
There are optional pins that can be inserted to lock the tabs in place that secure them to the bar.
They hold my 180 lbs just fine with no flex.
Here is a photo comparing...

Your 4runner provides the switch, fuse, and relay.

Then I ran the backlight wire to an ignition switched fuse in the fuse box.
I believe you could also use...
Do you unplug the factory aux switch and plug the cali raised switch into it, or is there some wire splicing needed?
ETA answering for future searchers. Yes, just plug and play with original oem wire connector.
It's not about the max capacity of the circuit. I want to ensure I don't drain the battery by running roof and ditch lights for a hypothetical continuous hour. I believe the hybrid doesn't have a typical alternator and wasn't sure how much extra juice the hybrid system would be putting out at...
Driving a dirt rock trail for an hour. Engine running, not accessory mode.
Roof light bar spec sheet says 16 amps 240 watts. But would also maybe want high beam headlights and stock grille light bar on also.
How can one determine a maximum amount of light bars and light pods can be illuminated simultaneously for a prolonged period of time? Where is the cutoff before a second auxiliary battery would need to be added?
Hybrid 4runner.
