I love my Trailhunter as well. The intake noise doesn't bother me. I barely notice it anymore and you'll only hear it during city driving when getting on it a bit anyway.
I went with it over the Pro because the suspension is tuned more to the type of activities I do like forest service roads...
That turns off and on the puddle light mounted above the license plate. I tried that switch as well when I wanted to turn off the hatch lights with it open without waiting 20 minutes.
Finally got mine! Was on several waiting lists since January waiting for an allocation. Got an allocation in March that I decided to eventually pass on because the dealer was being shady. Local dealer received one in early May, built May 12th, went on hold at port in late June for an unknown...
I came from a 2023 Ford Expedition. It started out needing a tow vehicle for my SxS. While it's fast for a huge SUV and great at towing, it's just too big for many of the trails where I'd rather be in a car than a SxS. I got the 4Runner because I wanted a capable mid-size body on frame SUV. I've...
Yes, it does. On my first drive with mine, I noticed how much it flexes up by the windshield in normal driving. It was a bit distracting at first and now I'm trying to ignore it. The hood is certainly very thin.
This is my medium Gunner kennel. It will be too small for a golden as you likely want an intermediate size. Given the free space left, an intermediate would certainly fit. I don't think you'd be able to fit two though.
Sadly, you can't do that anymore. Toyota put restrictions in place where you can't cancel a plan and buy again from another dealer. They want to protect the original dealer making the sale. When you get quotes from people like FD-Warranty, they warn you about this.
In either case, I'm super...
After passing on a Trailhunter a few months ago because the dealer decided to do a last minute markup, I just had the opposite happen. I put a deposit down on a Trailhunter at a local dealer that received an allocation for what I wanted. While it wasn't part of the May 15th QC holds many...
There are two switches inside but neither control the cargo lights. One turns on and off a puddle light near the rear license plate and the other controls the other interior lights. Even with both of these off, the cargo lights stay on. On the Trailhunter (or those with the optional hatch and...
Yup, it's a PIO. If your allocation hasn't arrived to port yet, your dealer can request changes to PIOs. I had mine add the $160 LED light. It's expensive and cheesy but I use my 4Runner primarily for overlanding so I wanted it.
Exactly. My guess is this vehicle has the full Trailhunter setup with the dual function button instead of the big TRD Pro Light Bar button.
There was someone else on here the other day that bought the dual color fogs but couldn't connect them. I think this basically confirms that it's a whole...
What button layout do you have for the fog light/light bar control below the aux buttons? The TRD Pro has a big "TRD Light bar" button for the light bar whereas the Trailhunter has a combo side by side button for the fog lights and light bar in that spot.

This happened to me too. Dealer had it marked as Dealer Hold/Pre-Sold the whole time. Once it was loaded onto the truck for delivery, it disappeared from the inventory spreadsheet and website. Dealer confirmed that it's on the truck and either arrived last night or will this morning. I'm only 6...
