I mean I hear you dude, that's what I thought too. But nothing is touching, and nothing has abrasion marks. In my past vehicles when I stuffed too large of tires on, I was able to see plastic or metal with abrasion marks, paint scuffs, etc. This has nothing anywhere just the awful popping noise...

I tried comparing the left side to the right side visually, nothing appears different and nothing is obviously loose when I grab and tug on it lol

That's what I thought too, all the inner fenders are secured and none loose. It's weird, sounds exactly like a truck with bigger tires and no lift and an untrimmed fender but nothing I can see is making contact or has rubbing marks, no missing rivets, no missing plastic fenders or clips.

TRD off-road here, can confirm I have this incredibly fucking obnoxious noise present in mine from day 1 as well /sigh

4,700 miles on the odometer, no modifications, stock wheels and tires. When turning at full lock it almost sounds like oversize tires rubbing against a wheel well or fender, making aggressive popping sound in forward, less so in reverse but still present. Anyone else experienced this? UPDATE...

If my 4runner has the tow/haul mode selector as well as the 7pin and 4pin connectors at the trailer hitch, it safe to assume I have the tow package or is there other components I am missing to use the OEM trailer brake controller
