Yeah, I have a few nicks on the Xterra. Same thing, too old to repair and it started rusting out.
The material is also more of a rubber than a plastic so better prone to scratches or dog nails from my boxer jumping up onto the seat. 😅
Can’t see why not, but the rear only support 3.0A at 5v. Wanted to take advantage of the full 45W.
if I find that I’m missing out of the additional 45W port, I can always hardwire in the console plug.
Hey Guys,
I just finished up a quick install and review of the Zekzoop Door Sill Protectors for the 6th Gen 4Runner. @Zekzoop reached out and sent me a set to test, and I wanted to share my honest thoughts after putting them on.
Overall, the style and finish are great, the TPE material feels...
It wouldn’t be a question of wiring. That’s ’relatively’ easy to install with the right diagrams. If you go with the aux upgrade I believe they also include the alternator for when you run fridges and lights.
The question is, does the stock EVU support an alternator if we were to choose to...
Solid work dude. 🤙🏼 and glad to know Toyota hooked us up with a console safe.
I throw too many things in the center console to use as a safe. Going to check out how my Vaultech fits under the seat.
I just picked up a set of awning mounts for the ARB. They might work for the panels.

Going to test these out on the rack this week.
I spent some time this weekend adding what I thought was a missed opportunity to the center console, a USB C connection. Leveraging one of the existing ports on the middle console I wanted to be sure it looked clean and could be removed in the future.
Pretty happy with how it turned out.

Agreed on awnings. I just measured out for the ARB 8' and the 3/4" rack just is too small to handle it. I have a 5' Ironman that I'm pulling off my Xterra, but a 6' should be fine on the 3/4 racks.
