Yeah, the whole "drill holes in your rails" is why I passed on the Rago rack. Had they adjusted the engineering to use the current holes in the rails, and simply install rivnuts in the factory holes, that may be doable. But I'd prefer either a full rack replacement, or bars like they have now...

With only ~$100 difference between the two, I sort of like they 3/4 (short) rack they offer compared to the 3 crossbars for the factory rails. Both appear to sit at the same height, but the 3/4 rack offers more load capacity. I won't be doing a ton of load, but mostly use for carry snowboards...

Ok, so this may be a total newb question (sorry in advance, I did search), but does the moonroof have "dual positions"? I hit the open button, and it'll slide back and stop, but then if I hit the button again, it goes back another 3-4". Is this standard behavior? I only ask as I had some work...

I've seen the videos and photos of how it's mounted to a LR 250, and we share "similar" roof lines/mounts, so I assume it'll just mount to the 4Runner rails and sit 1.5-2" above the rail. Then again, this is purely conjecture based on the LR250 vids/images.

Pay my buddy $50 (who owns a detailing business and ceramic coats all my rides). He hand washes, applies CS3 to all painted and glass surfaces, and will "restore" the ceramic coating when/as needed. It's cheap insurance and helps support a small business. #everyonewins
