I’m still getting 14.5 mpg (14.46 calculated, 14.6 on dash) on my 2025 Toyota 4Runner Off-Road Premium non-hybrid with almost 2,000 miles.
I’m getting an oil change tomorrow since some people claim it makes a difference; I don’t believe it but what the heck.

Still rocking 14.8 mpg in my 2025 Off-Road Premium with 1,186 miles in Normal driving mode and 50-50 City/Hwy. Standard everything, wheels, tires, air dam still on etc.
Hey Administrator Jay. Have you compiled any of this information like type of vehicle e.g. 2WD, 4WD, driving mode etc?
Terrible, thank you for asking.
I’m getting 14.5 MPG. Here are the details:

Hi Hayden. I'm not sure if you're having trouble adding your vehicle or viewing results so I'll add a few screenshots. There may be a better way but this is what I got; It's not the most intuitive.

Well that's interesting. Your SR5 shows "Trip Average" MPG, my ORP doesn't. I thought it was strange, why would they remove that on higher trims? Also, very jealous of your mileage. I'm in San Diego getting 14.5 MPG.
I'm trying 91 just to see if it will help get better than the miserable 14.5 mpg I'm getting (Normal mode, 650 miles, standard tires, moderate driver, 60/40 Hwy/City).
Hi David. I'm using Fuelly now too. Did you track your mileage from the beginning? Did you notice it getting better over time? If so, what was it in the beginning? Thanks,
Also David
Hi NoDak
Thanks for looking at this. Yes, I do complete fill-ups (Keep in spreadsheet) with the same 87 octane gas, at same Costco station using the same procedure each time e.g. wait 10 sec and give it another squeeze. The last fill-up was 91 octane so I’ll see if that makes any difference.
I...
Ok, so here’s my 4Runner compared to other 2025 Off-Road Premiums using fuelly.com. My mileage is so bad that I am literally off the chart. I think I drive pretty moderate, it’s never stop and go traffic. Just trips to the store (2-5 miles surface) or golf (10 to 15 miles highway). I wish I...
So my new 2025 ORP (non-Hybrid) is getting 15% to 20% less MPG than a 2014. How is this acceptable or do I just have a lemon? Nice app though, what is it?
Hi Jon, have you zeroed out your meter or checked since your road trip; e.g more about town driving? I'm getting 14.5 mpg with my 2025 4Runner ORP non-hybrid in suburban driving, not even stop-and-go or rush hour traffic. Regular driving mode. Usually 2 to 10 mile trips mixed freeway and...
Are you all driving downhill, both ways? I'm getting 14.5 mpg with my 2025 4Runner ORP in suburban driving, not even stop-and-go traffic. Regular driving mode. Usually 2 to 10 mile trips mixed freeway and surface; trips to Costco etc. I don't think I'm lead footing it. This is third tank. So...
