I have just completed 1000 miles on my TRD ORP Hybrid.
Averages 21 mpg.
Combination of city, with plenty of stop and go, and highway, usually between 60-70.

- I did remove my air dam
- I have been using a lot of AC due to the high summer heat.

Mine has been on QC hold since mid April, for a car that was manufactured in late December.
It’s finally been inspected for the release and freight to the dealer as of yesterday, but boy is that taking long.
Anyone knows the reason for the QC hold?
Technically they’re supposed to be the same, right? They’re both called “Heritage Blue”, so it should be the same color? I saw a LC recently and used that as reference for my incoming 4R.
Reached out to my dealer today. My car was built on Mar. 21 and he guaranteed the price would not change, and sent me the final build sheet with the price on it. So i think fair to say vehicles built before 4/2 would not be affected. More details to come from the political situation, naturally.
Effectively mark up, the TRD OPD has typically been $0. Usually you’ll see mark ups on Pros and Trailhunters.
Find a dealer that can guarantee you’ll get what you want and not filler extras.

That original MSRP they have there is pretty much the price for the Hybrid ORP. That’s a bad practice from this dealer. Shame on them to try to fool buyers like that.
Yeah I did reach out to the 3 main dealers in STL. I’m looking at either the Pro or Trailhunter with a 3rd possibility being the ORP.
Told them I won’t do business until they remove the “market adjustment”- which they said probably wouldn’t happen until the end of 2025.
I recommend folks to shop around. I’ve bought cars in different states with no problems. Do not give a deal to a dealer doing this. It will only support gouging tactics. They should know better.
Checked with all dealers in St. Louis, MO area and they will all be charging $3,000 “market adjustment” on Trailhunter and TRD Pro trims only. At least until Autumn of 2025. Other trims should not be affected by that. Has anyone else seem similar approaches in your area or just all the dealers...
